The RPP0002 charger board is a 12 VDC battery charger assembly (BCE charger board, 1st generation) for the Tornatech GPD diesel fire pump controller, version V1. It maintains the charge on the 12-volt engine-start batteries so the diesel driver is ready to crank the moment the controller calls for a fire pump start.

A failing charger board commonly shows up as low-battery or charger-failure alarms on the GPD panel, or batteries that read low even after extended charging. Because this is the first-generation (V1) board, verify that your controller is a V1 GPD before ordering — and note that a separate 24 VDC version of this charger board exists for 24-volt systems.
