RELSCH0048 is a panel power relay with a 24 VAC coil and four contacts — two normally open (2NO) and two normally closed (2NC) — rated 690 VAC at 10 A. The relay switches control-circuit loads inside fire pump controller panels, energizing whenever its 24 VAC coil circuit is powered.
Relays are wear items: contact pitting from repeated switching, a burned coil, or chattering caused by low coil voltage are typical end-of-life signs. If a controller function that depends on this relay stops responding — or the relay buzzes instead of pulling in cleanly — replacement is usually the fix.
