RPP0171 is the CR1-CR2 power relay with interlock assembly used on Tornatech GPX and GPU electric fire pump controllers equipped with an automatic transfer switch — SOCOMEC transfer switches only. The assembly provides the power-relay and interlock functions between the controller and its transfer switch.

If transfer operations have become unreliable — the switch fails to receive its signal, the interlock does not release, or relay coils are burnt or chattering — this assembly is the usual culprit. It is supplied as a complete assembly, so replacement avoids piecemeal relay troubleshooting inside the cabinet.
